On the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day 14th August, 2018, H.E. Sheikh Nayhan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, U.A.E‘s Minister of Tolerance launched the ‘Junior Brick’ campaign at Pakistan Association Dubai. Junior Brick is an extension of the ‘Own a Brick’ campaign which encouraged community members to contribute towards building the Pakistan Centre and Pakistan Medical Centre.
The Junior Brick initiative aims to encourage children and teenagers to contribute from their savings towards the Pakistan Medical Centre. The contributions from the Junior Brick campaign will support the pediatric services and enable free healthcare to less fortunate children. A junior brick is for AED 100 and the brick owner gets a junior membership of PAD.
The purpose of this initiative is to inculcate the spirit of giving amongst the younger generation and engage them in community work/service. In the long run, the campaign envisions to see these junior brick owners as socially responsible citizens of the world.
Watch what the junior brick has to say.
